Assistance determination is based on the number of jobs and tax base created.  The County is in a position to provide the following:

• Land
  • Locating, purchasing, financing and zoning.
• Site Improvements
  • Site preparation, roads, storm water runoff plans, and connections to utilities.
• Buildings
  • Design, construction management, construction financing and plan approval.
• Working Capital
  • Financing initial start-up and operating costs.
• Equipment
  • Financing.
  • Acquisition assistance.
• Work Force
  • Securing an adequate labor pool with proper skills and a good work ethic.
• Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund (EDRLF)
  • Loans are made to start-up or expanding businesses.
  • Dollar for dollar matching funds.
  • For each $20,000 borrowed, one full-time job must be created or retained.
  • Interest rate for the loan will range at Prime +/- 2%.
  • Terms of 7 to 12 years are available.
